Makeup Review: Tony Moly Cristal Blusher in 05 Sugar Brown

Ahh Tony Moly :3
How could I not resist you.

Reference photo from TonyMoly.ph

As you can see, the color is a little lighter than the reference photo. It's a little bigger than I thought it was.

Size comparison, right next to a six-inch ruler.

The product itself is in a nice light brown color that reminds me of mocha. :P It smells like most generic powder products.

Swatch.

It's not very noticeable at some lighting effects, but I like how it's a subtle, muted brown. It doesn't come with a brush, sadly. It's easy to apply and easy to take off, it's not waterproof but it lasts on pretty long. I think this would look better on lighter skin shades for a more defined contouring effect, but I only want subtle contours so that it won't look too harsh.

Likes:

  • Feels light on the skin
  • Not too harsh, nice and subtle
  • Easy to apply, easy to take off, easy to carry around

Dislikes:

  • Doesn't show up much if I don't use foundation/BB cream
  • It has a little shimmer to it, but it sort of disappears after a few minutes

Rating:
Quality: 3/5
Price: 3/5 - I think it's a little pricey. It costs Php298 ($6.71)
Packaging: 5/5

*Yet again another non-sponsored review
