Surgery for Cosplay?

There's been a lot of hear-telling going on these days..

..particularly about some cosplayers getting surgery to alter their looks.
The Cosplay Queen: Alodia Gosiengfiao allegedly altered her looks as she entered into the mainstream
So, example here is Ms. Alodia Gosiengfiao. She's pretty, famous and from a well-off family. Many of her critics and haters accused her of having surgeries right before she entered the media mainstream.

They supposed that she had:
 1. Made her nose taller and skinnier.
 2. Made her boobs bigger.
 3. Augmented her face to have a smaller and more ideal frame.
 4. Had her eyes operated to have double eyelids.

And I also heard another hearsay that a famous crossplayer (Not gonna drop her name because I love her. And I REALLY REALLY LOVE HER SO DON'T ASK ME FOR THE NAME.) had undergone breast surgery to make them flatter and ideal for male cosplaying.

Living Doll: Dakota Rose
Plus, there's this issue about Dakota Rose(?) aka Kotakoti, who is literally a living doll. She looks kinda creepy to some, but she looks fine to me. (Maybe because I spend my days staring at BJD faces) I actually don't hate her, in fact I watch her tutorial videos on YouTube. I don't exactly love her, though. I'm just neutral about her.

So yeah, there may be a lot of cosplayers who payed millions to get their faces done and redone. But to be honest, I don't care.

Maybe it's because I accept the fact that not all of us were given goddess-level beauty, and that not everyone is contented with their looks. (Hey, that's what makeup is for.)

If you plan on getting surgery or something like that, I don't mind because that's what you want. I'm not the one who's gonna suffer/enjoy the outcome.

I myself, in all honesty, have never had surgery to alter my physical appearance. What you see is what you get. I only use makeup to alter my looks a tiny bit.

Basically, I'm okay with people who want to undergo such process just for cosplaying. It's their life, their face, their body. Do what makes you happy.

I don't really understand why some people react when famous people reveal that they had surgery. I mean, we can't all be naturally beautiful and perfect all the time. Some people need more work.

I'm not trying to influence your thinking, I'm just telling my own thoughts and opinions.

So do what make s you happy (physically and mentally) and piece of advice: who cares what they say?

*Please do correct me if I get the names/spelling wrong.
Thank you for reading~
