Still Lost: Ozine Fest AFS 2015

And here goes last year's end of the year event! Ozine was kind enough to organize the closing convention for 2015, giving everyone a chance to celebrate their inner geek before 2016 rolls in.

Taking Flight: Fantasy Quest 4

As much as the VIP day of Fantasy Quest 4 was exciting and eventful, so was the actual event. Even more cosplayers flocked to Fernwood Gardens to join the event and for a chance to catch a glimpse of attending guests from many different countries and to participate in this year's festivities.

Fantasy Quest at last! It's been a good two years ever since Fantasy Quest 3, and I've missed this magical event so much. This year, I decided to push for the VIP ticket to enjoy the full experience with my brother.

After a long, hard month of abstaining for cosplay, I finally got the chance to debut my Galaco NEO in this year's Cosplay Mania! 

In Retirement: Otaku Expo Reload 2015

Just before I jumped into the first semester of my third year in college, I had the most wonderful opportunity to do what I love to do the most before I tackle another year of responsibility and study.

Otaku Expo Reload is one of the known, smaller events that usually make its rounds in social media about once or twice a year. This year, it was held at Megatrade Hall, albeit the area they provided was a little bit cramped, cosplayers and enthusiasts of the like flocked to join the event.

The event occupied only a single hall, surprisingly, because other events for other lifestyle hobbies were also taking place in nearby convention halls. The corridors of the mall were lined with many cosplayers in attractive costumes for the whole day.

As always, Ozine Fest is included into the list of the most-awaited events in each year. And what year of cosplay isn't complete without an Ozine event scheduled in the summer, where students are as free as birds to wander wherever they want?

Finally, we have come to the last event of the year! Ozine Fest is one of the most-awaited events every year, probably because they always make it a point to reserve the last weekend before the New Year comes in cosplayers' schedules.

I thought, how very fitting for cosplayers! Usually, at this time of the year, people are on vacation and they usually try to find some semblance of bonding time with family and friends, as well as some pretty cool things to burn their Christmas money on. Ozine Fest AFS was the perfect excuse.

At Last: Cosplay Mania 2014

Cosplay Mania (aka CosMania) is one of the most awaited events of the year. Every year, I also aim to attend this famed event but for the past three years, my attendance was nil.

So, little update..

Sorry for not blogging much. I was finishing my thesis writing and busy with school work. As you see, I'll be graduating this March :)

So I'll be attending Cherry Convention! ^_^

I only attended Day 2. But the cosplay competition was on Day 1. Even so, there still were a lot of cosplayers roaming around! Also, this is my first time in a K-Pop event.
