I must say, 2015 has been a roller coaster of emotions on my part but I am happy to look back at this year's cosplays and view them as achievements. This year has been very kind to me in terms of my hobby. 2015 was a year of very exciting opportunities.
Let's look back at the past 365 days, shall we?

Makeup Review: Etude House Lash Perm Curl Fix in 01 Black
Not too long ago, I joined Etude House's Instagram contest without that much thought. I faintly remember telling my mom that EH was holding a contest where you had to create a look around the idea of colored eyelashes to win their new Lash Perm Curl Fix mascara, and she pushed me to join. After all, in her words, I had nothing to lose.

Makeup Review: Berrisom Oops! My Lip Tint pack in Sexy Red
I love lip tints. I don't like them - I love them. Ever since the trend of gradient/just bitten/Popsicle stained lips started making its rounds through the beauty circle here in the Philippines, popularized by Korean female idols and actresses, I simply fell in love.

Lost In Wonderland: Fantasy Quest 4 VIP Day
Fantasy Quest at last! It's been a good two years ever since Fantasy Quest 3, and I've missed this magical event so much. This year, I decided to push for the VIP ticket to enjoy the full experience with my brother.

Korean Beauty Mini-haul + Korean Story Shop Review
I'm not very into talking about hauls and stuff like those because most of the time I don't usually see the point of talking about things that you shop and buy for yourself. But I guess hauls and things like that give viewers a sort of avenue to discover different products and brands so I thought I'd give it a shot.

Of Shoes and Ships: Explaining Cosplay to Your Parents
At one point in any cosplayer's life, they have encountered resistance from what seems to be one of the most important people in anyone's life - their parents.
I agree that explaining cosplay to your parents can be pretty much like explaining rocket science. Most of the time, your parents are clueless about this hobby and at the first time they hear it, they'll most probably be against it.

In Retirement: Otaku Expo Reload 2015
Just before I jumped into the first semester of my third year in college, I had the most wonderful opportunity to do what I love to do the most before I tackle another year of responsibility and study.
Otaku Expo Reload is one of the known, smaller events that usually make its rounds in social media about once or twice a year. This year, it was held at Megatrade Hall, albeit the area they provided was a little bit cramped, cosplayers and enthusiasts of the like flocked to join the event.
The event occupied only a single hall, surprisingly, because other events for other lifestyle hobbies were also taking place in nearby convention halls. The corridors of the mall were lined with many cosplayers in attractive costumes for the whole day.

Makeup Review: Majolica Majorca Majolook Illuminator in BR799 (Voluptuous)
I've had sudden interest in Japanese makeup products lately, probably because a friend of mine pointed out that I have quite a lot of Korean-based products and teased me that I started to look like a Korean because of my makeup. I don't know why that piqued my interest to branch out to Japanese brands, maybe because I want to look Japanese for a change? (Kidding!)

QT Lens: Hanabi Gold Review + GWYSHOP review
I have no idea why people suddenly turn to me for their cosplay or beauty-related questions like I'm sort of help desk (which I don't mind at all). But for this week, my Secretary and I were going crazy over a lot of questions being sent into my messages and most of them were questions that were concerned with makeup and contact lenses.
Which is why I have decided to finally write-up a review of a pair of lenses that I bought from GWYSHOP some time ago. A lot of people have been asking what lenses I use for my Kisshou/Benio cosplay, and I get a lot of comments saying that the EOS Blytheye Brown I previously recommended is always so expensive or hard to find.

Of Shoes and Ships: Baby-Faced Confessions

Wig Review: BlueBeard
First of all, before we jump into the review, I just want to apologize dearly for being such an inactive blogger. If you didn't know, a lot of things just happened it's been a very tiring and hectic two months. But here I am, writing once more, and I am proud to say that I have survived what might have been the most difficult months of this year.
Now, on to the review.

Nico Nico Nii: Ozine Fest 2015
As always, Ozine Fest is included into the list of the most-awaited events in each year. And what year of cosplay isn't complete without an Ozine event scheduled in the summer, where students are as free as birds to wander wherever they want?

Wig Review: GhostCos
It's been a while since I've made a wig review, and frankly, I hope that I still haven't lost my touch. This review was also highly requested from my social media, and although it is quite late, here I am.
It was actually late December when I first cosplayed Galaco, and months of planning for it really stressed me out. First of all, because of her wig. Galaco's hair is split into two colors, which is blonde and brown. She sports full bangs that has different colored streaks and her hair is super long.
I have previously considered buying the Galaco wig offered by Fantasy Sheep, but the price was too much for my miniscule budget and the streaks on the bangs did not appeal to me at all. I started to think that I can just buy a blonde wig and dye it by myself, but I didn't have the skill to do so.
Thankfully, GhostCos released their own take on Galaco's multi-colored hair.

YouTube Update: My First Tutorial Video!
Hello, guys and gals!
As you may know, I have my own YouTube channel which I made about two years ago. I used to upload nonsensical videos of myself there when I was merely starting out in the cosplay scene.
My YouTube channel became neglected after a while, and I never really updated it. I realized that doing videos of myself or what I do isn't really my forte. I found blogging to be a more apt outlet of my hobbies.
Then again, it's a new year and it's 2015. A lot of people, including my ever-so-diligent secretary, pushed me to try my hand at videos again. So here I am, with a most-requested video tutorial of my Galaco cosplay makeup!
